DuplexDr Version 1.5: Virtual Serial Port Pairs Utility.

Labtam is pleased to announce a new major upgrade for DuplexDr Version 1.5. This is the first major release for the 2006 year.

With DuplexDr, you can create a pair of virtual serial ports (VSP pair) "virtually connected to each other" in your system. A virtual serial port appears to application software as a "standard" Microsoft Window's communications port (virtually identical to an RS-232 port). Data may be written to VSP by applications, and data may be read from VSP as though it were a standard COM port.

NOTES on this release (PLEASE READ):

1. Use the "setup -wauto -s" command line (instead of "setup -auto") to start the "Silent Installation".

- Is operational under Microsoft Windows 2003/XP x64 systems

The following bugs have been fixed

- some bugs took place under Windows/TSE systems

Known problems and limitations

1. The package is unusable under Win9x/ME.
