X-SecurePro Version 7.1

Labtam is pleased to announce a new software release named X-SecurePro Version 7.1. This is the second major release for the 2002 year.

X-SecurePro is our latest X-Server based software addition. Not only does it contain the key X-Server elements, it now provides Encryption Security using the SSH standard from PC to host machine. X-SecurePro brings you maximum Security to a PC and a company Lan/Wan or Intranet/Internet.

Integrating the Microsoft Windows and X-Window System environments X-SecurePro is an inexpensive but powerful and effective way to transform a standard PC into a fully functional X-terminal.

Included in the package are the X-Window System, SSH, TCP/IP, FTP, TFTP, LPR, LPD, TELNET and NFS plus a whole lot more.

Everything that you need to run all your remote Unix and X applications is included.

New Features on this release include:

1. XServer :
- the MESA GLX emulation was implemented;
- the "Multiple" screen mode XServer does not restart automatically after last X-Client completion;

2. NFS-Client for MS Windows NT4/2000/XP :
- the manual Mount/unmount (by the "NET USE drive: \\rhost\rexportdir" is available now;
- the remapping (automount) at Logon was implemented;
- the Paging I/0 requests are now supported.

The following bugs have been fixed :

2. NFS-Client for MS Windows 2000/XP :
- the "ReadOnly" File attribute may be set/clear correctly;
- some errors were fixed;
- the Tracing facilities were improved;

3. NFS-Server :
- reflects correctly the non-NFS actions into exported directories.

4. XServer :
- the very very long names of windows and icons in "Multiple" screen mode provided the XServer crash;
- the too slow screen scroll to bottom or to right in "Full" screen mode took place.

5. Installation :
- the "Configure" mode operates correctly now.
